Meet the team
Britt Isbell, BSW, CLC
Britt holds a Bachelors in Social Work and is a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) who loves working with moms and women to help them recognize their value as individuals and as mothers.
Bringing her experience as a social worker and the wisdom gathered from working with the aging population, Britt supports our moms and babies in their journey through counseling, education, and empowerment. Pulling from her own experiences and struggles with infertility, loss, IVF, breastfeeding, and postpartum anxiety/depression, she meets moms where they are and creates a safe space for them.
Susan is a Registered Nurse with over 35 years of experience in mom and baby health, including over 10 years as an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
In addition to providing our patients with lactation support, she also uses her certification in Pre and Perinatal Somatic Psychology to help families overcome pregnancy and birth challenges. Weaving in Biodynamic CranioSacral Therapy (BCST) allows both modalities to assist her in helping to support and resettle the nervous system after a stressful pregnancy, birth or unexpected procedures.
Finding a way to bring the nervous system back into balance through the ups, downs and challenges in life is a valuable life skill and important aspect of healing.

Diana Herrera, Office & Finance Manager
Diana is a seasoned finance manager and mother of two small children. Originally from Europe, Diana expected to find the same community and support network she experienced with the birth of her first child when she moved to America. She was shocked at the limited support for the mothers and infants in the US.
Grateful to have found Dr. Ghormley, Diana is dedicated to helping build a supportive network for families and individuals, believing deeply that empathy, compassion, and community can make all the difference.
Kate Sommer, CEO
Kate is a former corporate consultant and community builder turned natural minded mom of two little girls.
After struggling with infertility and loss, she decided to pursue IVF and thought the medical part of parenting was behind her. Then she discovered her first daughter had multiple oral ties and her journey of intense self-education around airway health and development began. Education quickly became passion when she met Dr. Ghormley, who performed her daughters oral release. The rest they, say is history!
Kate is thrilled about the opportunity to have amplify Dr. Carmel reached his many families as possible parents an individuals to live their best lives and come back into balance.
